Experience Maui’s lush rainforest on the Road to Hana with our Full day Island Explorer photo ecotour. We’ll circumnavigate massive Mt. Haleakala and photograph bamboo forest, tropical rain forest, waterfalls, black sand beaches, traditional fishing villages, sea caves, cultural sites, the island’s youngest lava flows, pastoral upcountry on this 8-10 hour adventure in our raised 4×4 SUV’s.
Our Half Day Light Chaser photo ecotour offers some beautiful photographic opportunities on Maui’s Westside under the rainforest canopy of Honolua Bay. We’ll explore the Northwest side of Maui, including lava flows, a blowhole at the ocean, and some dramatic sea scapes from the cliffs of Kahakuloa.

Our friendly and knowledgeable Photo Ecotour Guides will pick you up from your hotel or residence in luxury 4×4 SUV’s and will share their knowledge of the islands geographic and cultural history en route to a few of the islands most scenic spots.
While touring scenic locations, your guide will offer insights into the world of photography with creative photo exercises, a safari for light and the creative elements of the fine art photograph. Our unique island photo ecotour offers a safe, enjoyable and memorable experience.
Tours are 3 ½ to 4 hours, rain or shine. Please bring closed-toe walking shoes, a lightweight, long sleeve shirt (pants also recommended), although shorts and t-shirt are okay. Biodegradable sun block, mosquito repellant, cold drinks and light snacks are provided. Nikon D60 SLR’s w/ zoom lenses available for rental.

Our full day, private Photo Ecotour allows our friendly staff of knowledgeable Photo Ecotour guides to bring you off the beaten path to some of the islands most beautiful scenic locations in our comfortable 4×4 SUV’s. Experience the lush rainforests and magnificent coasts on the road to Hana or the magnificent sunset above the clouds at a 7500-foot elevation on the forested slopes of the volcano Mt. Haleakala.
While touring scenic locations, your guide will offer insights into the world of photography with creative photo exercises, a safari for light and the creative elements of the fine art photograph. Our unique island photo ecotour offers a safe, enjoyable and memorable experience on Maui.
You will enjoy the local flavors of the islands for lunch at a local favorite spot, or a luxury hotel (when available). A picnic lunch can also be arranged if desired (As meals are based on individual preferences, they are not included in our fee).
